R&R Product Update: R&R Introduces the Exploration and Foundation Editions

Whereas new features used to take months to go from concept to
implementation, AI makes it possible to develop,
test, and improve them in a matter of days or sometimes even hours. As a result, customer feedback can be processed more quickly, and
new features can be made available much sooner.

At R&R, we see this as a tremendous opportunity, but we also realize that organizations
sometimes have different needs. While one organization may prefer to be the first to explore new
possibilities, another may value a more predictable
environment. Both needs are important and deserve an appropriate solution.

That’s why we’re introducing two new editions (environments) within R&R:

Exploration Edition: first access to new features and innovations
🛡️ Foundation Edition: a predictable environment with proven features

This way, you can decide for yourself which balance between innovation and predictability best suits your organization. In this blog, we’ll explain both editions in more detail.

The Foundation Edition is the standard environment for all R&R users. Upon request, you can join the Exploration Edition and be among the first to gain access to new features.

Exploration Edition: for organizations that want to stay ahead of the curve

The Exploration Edition is an environment within R&R where you’re the first to gain access
to innovations and new features
, in addition to the features you already know and
use. This allows you to discover new possibilities as soon as they become available. Features are always clearly communicated and explained, so you know exactly what has changed and what to expect.

This also allows you to play an active role in the platform’s further development. Your
feedback helps us improve, expand, or sometimes re
features. That’s why the Exploration Edition is best suited for organizations with a
mindset focused on discovery, experimentation, and improvement. Organizations that enjoy
contributing ideas and actively shaping the future of workforce management.

With the Foundation Edition, you get:

✅ Early access to new features
✅ Direct influence on the further development of features
✅ Be the first to discover and implement new solutions

Are you currently in the Exploration Edition but would prefer to switch back to Foundation? That’s possible, too.

Foundation Edition: for organizations that prioritize reliability

The Foundation Edition is the standard environment within R&R, where reliability and continuity are key. The features in this edition have proven themselves in practice and will remain available for the long term, so you can rely on the most predictable working environment.

New features that have proven successful in the Exploration Edition may eventually be incorporated into the Foundation Edition
. The Foundation Edition
is best suited for organizations that need a more predictable environment,
where changes are implemented carefully. This ensures that the focus remains on
smooth day-to-day operations and maximum support for existing processes.

With the Foundation Edition, you get:

✅ Proven features that have stood the test of time
✅ A stable, predictable software environment
✅ Long-term availability and support for features

Two editions, one vision

Although their approaches differ, both editions share the same vision.

We believe that technology should help organizations plan more effectively, make better decisions, and free up more time for what really matters.

The Exploration Edition offers the opportunity to shape the future together with us. The Foundation Edition offers the security of a predictable and proven environment.

You decide which edition is the best fit for your organization.
