In this edition: Greater insight into leave & what's next?
At the beginning of this month, the updated leave overview in the R&R Job App went live briefly. During this go live, the intended improvement did not appear to be obvious to everyone due to changes to the layout.
To avoid confusion as much as possible, we have decided to roll back the release so that we can move things around first, so that it is clearer to the employee where they stand. For example, like the current view, the new view will show all your leave requests immediately upon opening. In doing so, we will also show the current leave balance and the expected balance at the end of the year. This way there is immediate insight into where the employee stands. The employee can then click through to the details of the leave, so there is insight into the mutations directly from the app!
We will roll out these adjustments again over the next few weeks.
Currently, the R&R Job App primarily provides functionality needed from an employee perspective. At R&R, we are working hard to add functionality for R&R users as well. Before the end of the year, you as a R&R user will be able to link your R&R Job App account to your R&R account. From then on, you will get instant insight into the KPIs of your store(s), DC(s), gas station(s) and/or department(s), right on your cell phone. Wondering how yesterday was realized? Open the app and you have instant insight!
Of course, this is just the beginning; in the coming year, among other things, we will make it possible to handle leave requests and shift swap requests entirely through the app. And with any new functionalities that R&R develops, we will look at whether they can also be accessed in a practical way through the R&R Job App.
At the turn of the year, we will provide more insight into the expected developments surrounding the R&R Job App in 2025.
