Product update 15-07

This edition focuses on the new configuration options in the R&R Job App, including the ability to choose what information is displayed and whether employees can see who they work with. We also discuss the option to submit temporary availabilities and tell you how to easily delete leave requests that have not yet been approved.

Configure your R&R Job App preferences.

The R&R Job App is the employee communication tool. Besides providing more and more information in the app, managers have direct influence on what is shown in the app. Through their own configuration in R&R, they can choose which information is shown in the app and which is not.

In the last product update, it was announced that you can configure whether an employee can see who they are working with. In addition, more configuration options are offered for the R&R Job App. You can also specify on this page what hours are shown. In addition to hours worked, the current functionality, you can also specify whether clocked hours will also be visible in the R&R Job App.

This ability to configure corresponds to the settings of the ATW rules. The ins and outs of this functionality can also be found in the past product update. The default settings of the R&R Job App can be done for all locations at once. Still want to have deviations to your default settings? No problem! A deviation can always be set on locations. This way the setup remains flexible and you remain "in control" of the data your employee sees!

This functionality will be available starting next week.

Submit temporary availabilities via the Job App

In the January product update this year, there was extensive discussion of the availability functionality within R&R. This functionality allows an employee to indicate when he or she is available to work. In addition to passing on a standard availability, as of today it is also possible to pass on a temporary availability.

A temporary availability is an availability with an end date. After this temporary availability expires, your standard availability goes back into effect. This minimizes the need for you to register as a user.

This temporary availability is perfect for holidays and vacation weeks, for example. This allows for the most efficient scheduling with the employee's preferred availability and both the scheduler and the employee reap the benefits of this functionality.

Tip: Delete a leave request yourself that has not yet been approved by your supervisor

Everyone wants to go on vacation, and during the summer months, leave requests can pile up. As an employee, you may have some trips planned and so you submitted these leave requests all through the R&R Job App. Does a trip fall through and was this leave request not yet reviewed by your supervisor? Then it can be deleted via the Job App without any problems.

A request can be identified by the blue badge in the leave overview. By clicking on this request, the leave request can be removed. This request then also immediately disappears from the manager's list, he/she no longer needs to assess this request.

But did you know that an open leave request can also be deleted by swiping? Instead of clicking on the request and deleting it with a button, it can be done in the overview by swipe action!
