R&R product update Aug. 1, 2024

Product update 01-08-24

In this edition, we focus on the change in ATV accrual starting in 2025. We discuss the improved flexibility for statutory and non-statutory leave in R&R and the adjustment to the productive hours KPI. In addition, we look at the ability to create your own KPIs in the dashboard and provide a reminder to configure your R&R Job App preferences.

Change in ATV accrual beginning in 2025.

Because ATV (sometimes set up as ADV) is automatically taken in the week that it is accrued, R&R in most cases calculates the ATV, assigns it and takes it immediately.
foodstuffs The collective bargaining agreement states that in the case of maternity leave or illness due to pregnancy, the employee is entitled to accrue ATV balance, but may not take it. Currently, this is resolved outside of R&R and ATV entitlement is credited manually or through a link upon return from maternity leave.

From the first week of 2025, R&R will also grant ATV entitlement during maternity leave and illness due to pregnancy. This means it is no longer necessary to track and resolve this outside the system.

We will repeat this message again in December 2024.

Statutory and supervisory leave in R&R

Many of our Dutch users have R&R accrue weekly leave based on hours worked. Here one can choose to make a breakdown between statutory and non-statutory leave with the application of the corresponding expiration periods.

But the flexibility to choose either leave pot when booking leave manually was not possible until recently. This has since changed. When a manual leave booking is made on an employee in R&R, it is now possible to choose which leave type it applies to. This way, R&R ensures that the employee receives the correct leave balance on the correct leave type.

Change productive hours KPI

When you want to determine the productive hours for a location, you can interpret it in two different ways: take all productive hours worked by staff at that location, or take all productive hours worked at that location. This is the difference between taking lending and borrowing hours, respectively. Almost everywhere in R&R the choice is made that reports are done on location including the borrowing hours, so you have a clear picture of the hours worked and thus costs. Only when we look broken down by employee do we switch to the loan hours.

Until now, the productive hours KPI in the dashboard included neither the lending hours nor the borrowing hours. From now on this has been adjusted so that here the fully deployed hours including borrowing are always shown.

Create your own KPIs in the dashboard

When you open a store, you immediately see KPIs. These contain all the key figures you need to be able to run the store as optimally as possible. How nice would it be if these KPIs could be customized to your preferences? Choose what you want to see and how you want to compare the data!

Are you only interested in the percentage of supplemental hours? No problem! Or would you like to see your hours deployed compared to the originally scheduled hours? That too is possible.

Reminder: Configure your R&R Job App preferences.

The configuration screen to set your Job App preferences has been available for a while now. Next Wednesday, on August 7, this configuration will actually go into effect. That means that from then on you will be able to see, for example, who you have to work with in the schedule or that the clocked hours will also be visible in the R&R Job App.

Before then, make sure you have configured your preferences the way you like them. Forgot where to configure your preferences? Then check out our previous product update.
