R&R product updates annual review 2022

R&R

Periodically we publish an update on interesting developments and improvements of our WFM system R&R. This time an overview of the year 2022.

A cliché, but 2022 has flown by again. We look back on a great year with many new developments and a greatly improved R&R. Therefore, we would like to take a look back at some of the important milestones in the ongoing development of R&R.

Some facts and figures about 2022

R&R Insights

Just over a year ago we launched R&R Insights: this brings together all the interesting data within R&R and gives you data-driven insight into all important (control) information in an accessible and user-friendly way. And how fast it went! Within one year we were able to realize a fully integrated module with many great features. But we are obviously far from finished and have great ambitions with R&R Insights. An overview of some of the developed features within R&R Insights:

R&R Insights

New login screen and improved login procedure

In 2022, we completely revamped and improved R&R's login screen and procedure. This has not only greatly improved its appearance, but has also laid the groundwork for additional security measures so that you always log in securely. You can think for example of Multi Factor Authentication (MFA).

Checkout flows and POS3 linkage

Rapid technological advances are creating other wants and needs regarding the use of staff. Think self-scan and online ordering. To better align scheduling budgets with these needs, we have introduced "checkout streams. By supplying checkout data across different checkout streams, it is possible to distinguish between the different checkout points that exist in a store and determine the corresponding budget for them.

To support the checkout flows, we have built a new Point of Sale link (POS3), which allows the checkout data to be delivered per checkout flow.

Navigation

In November, we launched the revamped navigation within R&R. The navigation bar has been moved from the top to the left side of the screen. This makes it more user-friendly and gives a larger display area in the grid, realization and payout.

Leave overview

The new leave overview allows the user to review leave requests in one view. The new leave overview is displayed immediately when opening the absence overview. The complete overview including sick/absence can be found on the second tab.

Generic HR import

If you are not using an automatic HR link, it is convenient to be able to import an HR file. Therefore, we have built a generic HR import. This makes it possible to read an HR file into R&R and employee data does not have to be entered manually. Data not available in the file but necessary for R&R can be added manually.

Time Recording

Availability management

This year we launched a new feature: overview and management of availabilities. This gives you an overview of the availability of your staff at store and department level. We will develop this further in the coming year.

CLA

We made several improvements and adjustments this year regarding compliance with the collective bargaining agreement and laws and regulations:

Limit balance Time for Time

As of now, it is possible to limit the balance of Time for Time due to additional work and/or allowances to a certain number of hours. Above that limit, the TvT hours will then be paid out automatically. For example: we configure a limit of 10 hours. Then the employee can only have a maximum balance of 10 hours. Every minute above this 10th hour will then be paid out automatically. Would you like to take advantage of this? Then contact After Sales at support@rr-wfm.com.

Security

R&R training courses

This year we launched R&R training courses. It is very important that your employees handle systems correctly. When implementing new systems, training is often given in the beginning. But due to new employees and turnover, knowledge is often lost. That's why we offer the additional R&R training courses at competitive rates. With our accessible and pragmatic training courses, your employees are always up to date and get the most out of R&R.

Continuous improvement and bug fixes

Besides the above points, we have of course spent the entire year working on small and large improvements to our software and we have fixed many bugs and issues. Of course we can't list everything here, but if you are interested, you can read about them in our archive of product updates.

Outlook 2023

Of course we do not only want to look back, but we also want to look ahead to the developments and expectations for the year 2023. We are looking forward to taking new steps again this year!

Therefore, this month you will receive our outlook for the year 2023. So keep an eye on your mailbox and the product updates on our website.
