R&R product update Nov. 1, 2023

This edition focuses on the rollout of the new R&R job app, a look ahead to the final months of this year, and bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements.

R&R job app rollout progress

It probably hasn't gone unnoticed: The rollout of the new version of the R&R job app is in full swing. All Android users have gradually been given the option to download the new version in recent weeks. And for iOS users, the update to the new version has been made available in the last few days.

To ensure a smooth rollout, the decision was made to release gradually instead of releasing everyone at once. Right now, everyone can install the latest version of the R&R job app. Over the course of next week, there will be a requirement to download the latest version. We will initiate this from our side, but first give users time to install the latest version at their own chosen time.

When everyone is on the new version, new features may be released subsequently. For example, "comment in roster" will soon be on the schedule. Comments made in the roster in R&R will then also be shown in the job app in the employee's roster.

Next, the updated version of "clocking in the app" is also planned. Employees will have more insight in the app into what they clock. Both these features are almost ready to go live, but first the job app will have to be completely live before we can bring it to the user!

Outlook last months 2023

With November already upon us, we can look ahead one more time to what is to come in 2023.

Earlier in this newsletter we looked at features ready for the job app once we have all users on the new version, but it doesn't stop there. We will also be working hard in the coming months to improve the input of availabilities. Both for the employee, and for the manager! We will make it possible to approve availabilities before they are implemented in R&R and it will also be possible for the employee to specify an effective date for the new availability.

In terms of integration, we also continue to move forward; this year we will make it possible to define your own exports from the payout and from R&R Insights. When no standard integration is possible, or when there is a need to export to your own data warehouse, for example, these new exports offer a solution.

For our customers operating in Germany, we are working hard to improve the annual leave entitlement, with effect from 2024 it no longer needs to be adjusted in the event of transfers.

In addition, of course, we continue to improve the quality of and ease of use in R&R.

Curious about 2024? Then be sure to look out for next month's newsletter!

Bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements

In the past weeks our teams have been busy fixing bugs and making (small) quality-of-life improvements. These changes are all aimed at making the daily interaction with R&R even smoother. We have implemented the following changes, among others:
